Today marks the start of something special in Plains Township: the grand opening of The Gallery Casual Dining & Cocktails, a restaurant where familiar comfort meets fresh creativity. And before we even opened our doors, we had the privilege of being featured by Bob Kalinowski, enterprise reporter for The Citizens’ Voice, whose article highlighted both the roots and the rebirth of this beloved space.

In his thoughtful piece, “Former Dominick's Café in Plains Twp. to reopen as The Gallery”, Bob did what great local journalists do best—he told our story with heart, history, and hope. From our team to his readers: thank you, Bob, for welcoming us into the community the best way possible—through words that matter.

We encourage everyone to read and share his article, follow him on Twitter and Facebook, and support The Citizens’ Voice, a publication that continues to elevate local voices and hometown stories.

A New Beginning: The Gallery Opens Its Doors

Located in the former home of Dominick’s Café, The Gallery blends warm tradition with modern flair. We’ve redesigned the space with an eye for comfort, a heart for hospitality, and a menu that celebrates both familiar favorites and inspired new dishes.

From seared filet mignon to handcrafted cocktails, our kitchen is led by Chef Chris Mullin who believes every plate is a canvas. It's more than just dinner—it’s an experience. A gathering. A gallery of good times.

And tonight, Thursday, May 1st, marks our official grand opening.

We’re already seeing a wave of reservations as friends, neighbors, and longtime fans of this location return to see what’s new—and taste what’s next. If you haven’t booked your table yet, now’s the time. We're filling up fast for this weekend and beyond.

Down the Road, the Beat Goes On

What’s a Thursday night in Plains without a little rhythm? Just minutes from The Gallery, Mohegan Sun Pennsylvaniahosts its wildly popular Party on the Patio concert series.

This evening, 52nd Street Band pays tribute to Billy Joel—so if you’re feeling that “Piano Man” energy, grab dinner with us first and then follow the music down the road. Or, for those who prefer a quieter evening, stay and enjoy a cozy nightcap with us away from the crowd.

Future Thursday shows include:

  • May 8: Stayin’ Alive (Bee Gees)

  • May 15: Redneck Castaway (Kenny Chesney)

  • May 29: Mamma Mania! (ABBA)

  • …and a summer full of hits all the way through September.

Plan Ahead. Eat Well. Stay Awhile.

Whether you’re joining us before the show, after the encore, or instead of the party altogether—The Gallery is your home base for Thursday nights in Plains.

Come see what all the buzz is about. Dine with us, drink with us, celebrate with us. We're honored to be part of this neighborhood's story—and thrilled to write this new chapter with you.

Thank you again to Bob Kalinowski and The Citizens’ Voice for supporting our launch. We hope to see you all tonight, and many nights to come.
